Step # 3: WHAT SEARCH ENGINE READ ?

Search engine use special software which are used to index the WebPages into the search engine optimization. Indexing means enrollment of WebPages. These softwares are known as spiders or crawlers. Spiders read special tags in html code of the WebPages.

I hope you have an understanding of html code. If not then let us have a quick look at html code. I am writing the html tags as it is written for any web layout.

The tags which I have mentioned here in html code are read by the search engines for search engine optimization. So, we can say that by now we have a better understanding of html tags than before.

The question here is that how can we see the code of any WebPage?

The answer is very simple and that is open any web page in browser then at the top menu bar click on "view"; a drop down menu will appear, there you could see the second last option "view source" or only "source"; just click that. Html code will appear in any text editor.

  • Title tag
  • Description tag
  • Keyword tag

Remember all these tags came under head portion of the code.
